digiMedical Solutions, Inc. Announces digiAccounting 1.0, a New Microsoft .Net Based Accounts Receivable Software Solution for Pharmacies
Market Wire, October, 2007
digiMedical Solutions, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: DGMS) today announced the company has developed and deployed a new, proprietary Microsoft .Net based Accounts Receivable (AR) accounting system named digiAccounting 1.0. This new system interfaces with the legacy systems from the company's five existing pharmacies and converts the data into usable and transmittable data for accounting purposes, as a key part of the company's cost-reduction strategy.
digiAccounting has been developed and deployed prior to the Company's anticipated completion of two transactions with financial institutions in order to streamline and digitize the flow of financials across the company's five pharmacies and with the two financial institutions. This new addition to digiMedical's suite of proprietary software is the continuation of digiMedical's business plan to become the premier digital pharmacy chain and provider of digital prescription services in the United States.
digiMedical Solutions, a Microsoft Partner, has built its own suite of proprietary software to handle prescriptions digitally from the physician's office to the pharmacy, securely and in compliance with all DEA and HIPAA requirements. The suite of software includes digiRX, digiRxStream, digiReauth, digiRxComp, and now digiAccounting. This suite is designed to take a standard pharmacy and convert it to a "digital pharmacy." Additionally, the company owns and operates five pharmacies throughout Texas and Florida.
