Market Wire, October, 2007
Sage Software today announced the new Peachtree Business Care program aimed at better supporting small businesses using Peachtree by Sage Complete Accounting, Peachtree by Sage Premium Accounting, and the Peachtree by Sage Premium Accounting industry-focused products. Small businesses using those products can now enroll in Peachtree Business Care, which provides them annually with software upgrades and updates, unlimited access to support, and training.
"Time is at a premium for small firms, and we want to help them keep their focus on what's most important: running their businesses. With the new Peachtree Business Care Plan, we're helping them to maximize their time by keeping them current on the latest version of Peachtree, and helping them use their software more efficiently with unlimited access to training and support when they need it," said Connie Certusi, general manager, accounting solutions, Sage Software. "When they don't have to worry about their software, they can focus on growing their businesses."
With Peachtree accounting software, small businesses can already rest easy knowing that their numbers are accurate and their accounting functions are operating at peak efficiency. Peachtree Business Care takes that peace of mind a step further, ensuring that small businesses' accounting software is always current, they have someone to contact when they have a question, and that they are making the best possible use of the features in Peachtree. Peachtree Business Care is an annual auto-renewing subscription service with a choice of two annual plans to give exactly what small businesses need for added peace of mind.
Small businesses have the option of selecting either the Essential Business Care plan or the Preferred Business Care plan, which includes payroll tax regulatory information in addition to the software, support and training included in the Essential plan. Small businesses using Peachtree by Sage - Quantum are automatically enrolled in the Essential Plan, and have the option to upgrade to the Preferred plan, if they need payroll information as well.
The Essential Plan includes:
-- All Peachtree Upgrades and Updates(1) for the customer's selected
product, so they will always have the latest version, with the newest
features and the greatest compatibility with other services and software.
Customers enrolled in Peachtree Business Care will automatically receive
every new version of their product as soon as it is released, ensuring that
their business is always running on the most up-to-date software available.
Every upgrade and update is included with the Peachtree Business Care Plan.
-- Unlimited(2) access to Peachtree Customer Support, so businesses will
continue to have someone to contact for anything concerning their
accounting software, including shortcuts and tips that can help them work
more productively. Customers on Peachtree Business Care don't need a
separate support contract - unlimited access to support is included with
the Peachtree Business Care Plan.
-- Online Training Sessions. New customers and even those who are more
familiar with Peachtree can learn how to maximize the use of their software
at these Web-based training sessions. Customers enrolled in Peachtree
Business Care can participate in as many training sessions as they like at
no additional charge.
-- Peachtree Self-Study Guides. This CD with four study guides will help
make small businesses more proficient with Peachtree by expanding their
skill level. The guides are designed for both new and experienced
Peachtree users, and include tips, tools and techniques to make using
Peachtree even easier. Subscribers will get new Self-Study Guides with
every upgrade they receive.
The Preferred Plan is for businesses that use Peachtree for payroll. It includes:
-- Everything in The Essential Plan, plus;
-- A subscription to the Peachtree Payroll Tax Update Service(3) to keep
small businesses current with any new tax and reporting changes, updated
payroll calculations and tax form revisions for as long as they're
enrolled.
