Bob Frank, Chief Information Security Officer at California State Automobile Association, Wins Information Security Executive (ISE) West Award 2007

Bob Frank, Chief Information Security Officer at California State Automobile Association, was selected by the judges to win the West 2007 Executive of the Year Award. Mr. Frank was recognized for his leadership and innovative approach to information security. He and 27 other nominees from the West region, including Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming, were honored at a ceremony held during the ISE West Awards Gala in San Francisco, on Thursday, October 18, 2007.

Radha Thompson, Vice President, Security Operation and Card Services Risk at Washington Mutual, was named the People's Choice Award Winner for 2007. She received this accolade from the community of peers who voted for her as the executive who exemplifies the most attributes of a leader in the security industry.

Six ISE Finalists, including Bob Frank, were showcased during the event. The other five finalists included Francisco Artes, Director, Information Security, Electronic Arts; Michael Barrett, Chief Information Security Officer, PayPal; Eric Cowperthwaite, Chief Information Security Officer, Providence Health and Services; Al Kirkpatrick, Vice President, Chief Information Security Officer, The First American Corporation; Racheal Strider, Chief Information Security Officer, California Department of Health Services.
