Industry stalwart LCC International, Inc. (NASDAQ: LCCI) has entered into a teaming agreement with Toronto-based Nexus Communications in a bid to increase its presence in the Canadian marketplace. The teaming agreement enables LCC and Nexus Communications to work together to develop Canadian business opportunities by sharing technical expertise and business and engineering resources.

Nexus CEO Amir Bigloo is optimistic about the Canadian business environment. "We see an increased need by Canadian carriers for network deployment-driven services, including wireless network planning, capacity planning, deployment, and field optimization. Several new WiMAX players have entered the arena in need of these services. Further, Canada's upcoming AWS spectrum auction has the potential to create a fourth national carrier. This can be a huge opportunity for us."
