Hosting.com today announced free web hosting plans that allow clients to explore the new features Microsoft has included with the latest versions of SQL Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008 prior to their full version release. As a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, Hosting.com is able to provide access to these new tools recently introduced to the developer community.
While the official release of these solutions by Microsoft is not scheduled until February 27, 2008, Hosting.com Beta plans are available now and include 100 MB of disk space, 25 GB of data transfer and remote site administration for the Windows Plan. The SQL Server plan includes a 100 MB Data File, a 20 MB Transaction Log and a login with DBO rights. Specific advancements to these Microsoft products include:
