Lisa Nelowet Grice Joins ENVIRON

Ewire -- ENVIRON is pleased to announce that Lisa Nelowet Grice, CIH, has joined the firm as a Principal based in the Denver, Colorado office. Formerly CH2M HILL's Vice President for Strategic Services, responsible for Sustainability, Greenhouse Gas Management, and Energy Services, Ms. Grice is an internationally known expert in greenhouse gas (GHG) management, accounting, and trading. She is actively involved in monitoring the development of climate change issues and implementing GHG management and sustainable operations programs.

According to Ronald E. Hutchens, President of ENVIRON International Corporation, "Lisa is a key addition to the international multidisciplinary team ENVIRON is building in response to the emerging carbon and energy management needs of our clients around the world." Ms. Grice has more than 20 years of experience advising industry associations, local governments, the US EPA, and the California Climate Registry, in addition to private-sector clients across a broad range of industries that include manufacturing, power, oil and gas, and food products. She was recently interviewed by Forbes and Industry Week magazine on carbon footprint and greenhouse gas reduction issues.

Highlights of Grice's professional experience include:

1- Served as the Program Manager in support of the US EPA's Climate Leaders Program, a federal program designed to support companies that have made commitments to register and reduce their entity-wide GHG emissions.

2- Served as a Senior Advisor to the California Climate Action Registry's information management system, which automates GHG inventory reporting over the web for the State of California's voluntary GHG registry.

3- Served as the Project Manager for a multinational manufacturing and entertainment company's effort to reduce emissions by 10% over a five-year period. Work included the inventory design for 13,000 facilities worldwide and the establishment of business goals and portfolio design.
