Trustmark Voluntary Benefit Solutions Launches First-Ever Flexible Worksite Accident Insurance
Market Wire, November, 2007
Trustmark Voluntary Benefit Solutions, a leading provider of payroll-deducted voluntary benefits, is launching the first-ever solution for producers searching for the flexibility to customize Accident insurance plans for their clients. With Trustmark's new Accident solutions, producers can mix and match important benefits such as Wellness, Employee and Spouse Disability, Catastrophic Accident and Accidental Death to ensure that each of their clients get the insurance they need. Accident insurance helps families offset the cost of unexpected accidents that occur everyday, from the soccer field, to the ski slopes, and the highway in between. And Trustmark's new Accident solutions make access to coverage easier than ever, because all benefits are Guaranteed Issue.

"Our goal is to do more than deliver a new Accident product," said Janet Buzil, Second Vice President of Marketing and Product Management for Trustmark Voluntary Benefit Solutions. "Our goal is to address the financial burden of accidents by providing employers with custom solutions to help employees and their families focus their energy on recovering from an accident, rather than worry about how they are going to pay for it."
In addition to basic benefits covering injuries, doctor appointments, emergency room visits and hospital stays for employees and their families, Trustmark's new Accident insurance offers Employee and Spouse Accidental Disability benefits to replace income when parents are injured and unable to work. And when employers want to encourage good health for their employee population, they can build in Wellness Benefits for the entire family.
"The beauty of our new Accident product is that while it offers ultimate customization for each group, the only decision employees need make is whether or not they want to purchase coverage," said Buzil. "There are no complicated benefit decisions for employees, and since all Trustmark Accident solutions are Guaranteed Issue, every employee can cover their family."
All Trustmark Accident solutions are available now for February 2008 enrollments. For more information on voluntary benefits for employers with 100 or more employees, contact your Trustmark Voluntary Benefit Solutions Sales Representative or call (800) 840-4692 or visit www.trustmarksolutions.com .
