QualityLogic Completes Second Round of Certified Page-Yield Testing for Kodak
Market Wire, November, 2007
QualityLogic ( www.qualitylogic.com ) has completed the second round of its certified page-yield test program for Kodak. In May, the company announced the results of a program that compared yields for Kodak's EasyShare 5300 printer series against those of 12 competing U.S. printers. Now, QualityLogic has released the results of its most recent program for Kodak which measured yields of the EasyShare 5000 AIO printer series against those of 11 European printers. Each of these printers has a significant market share in France, Germany and the United Kingdom.
QualityLogic's testing of both monochrome and color-ink cartridge/printer combinations were completed according to the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standards for measuring ink cartridge yields. However, because the ISO is still in the process of developing standards for color-photo ink-yield measurement, QualityLogic used its own proprietary methodology for color-photo yields, which closely follows the proposed standards. QualityLogic follows the developing ISO color-photo standard closely and will implement the standard as soon as it is released.
Both the European and U.S. certified page-yield test reports can be viewed and downloaded at www.qualitylogic.com . Information about QualityLogic and its Certified Page-Yield Testing Service can also be found at www.qualitylogic.com or by calling 800-436-6292, ext. 35 or 805-531-9030, ext. 35.
