Panasonic Introduces New-for-2008 Premium 9300 Line of Cordless Phones
Market Wire, December, 2007
Panasonic today announced the release of the 2008 models in its premium, top-of-the-line 9300 series of cordless phones, all equipped with powerful DECT technology to provide crisp, clear reception with minimal interference. The KX-TG9341 and ruggedized KX-TG9371, in addition to the KX-TG9348 phone bundle, will be available in early 2008, and come fully equipped with advanced communications technology, including Panasonic-exclusive "call block" and "night mode" features. Panasonic's entire 2008 line of cordless phones will debut at the 2008 International CES in Las Vegas from January 7-10, 2008 at the Panasonic booth #9405.
These new models set the standard for clear communication with DECT technology and answering systems. Raising the bar with features that include advanced Talking Caller ID and alarm clock, Panasonic also debuts the new to the industry, exclusive "call block" and "night mode" functions that allow the user to eliminate unwanted calls and to customize when to allow their phone to ring, respectively. The KX-TG9371 is a ruggedized cordless phone with answering system, incorporating a drop- and splash-resistant finish into the handset design to accommodate both indoor and outdoor use.
"The advanced functionality of Panasonic's 9300 phone series puts the user's comfort and convenience first," said Bill Birnie, Marketing Director, Communications Solutions Group, Panasonic Consumer Electronics Company. "In addition to the robust suite of intuitive features like a 50-station phonebook, easy-to-read caller ID, handset speakerphone and the reception clarity offered by DECT, the advanced features allow users to customize when their phone rings and who may reach them."
The Panasonic KX-TG9341 (MSRP: $69.95) will be available in March 2008. The KX-TG9371 (MSRP: $69.95) and the KX-TG9348 (MSRP: $129.95) -- a family bundle phone system that includes two conventional phones with answering system, plus a ruggedized handset -- will be available in April 2008. The models will be available at major retailers as well as via www.panasonic.com .
