Global Aero Logistics Names William Garrett as CFO

Global Aero Logistics Inc. announced today that William A. Garrett has been named Chief Financial Officer for the airline holding company.
Garrett, an airline veteran, had served as interim CFO for Global since October 2007. He is a former chief operating officer and chief financial officer at Gemini Air Cargo, Inc., and chief financial officer of Vanguard Airlines, Inc. He recently assisted MatlinPatterson Global Advisers LLC in restructuring VarigLog and establishing the cargo carrier's fleet and growth plans. A graduate of Washington and Lee University, Garrett also served many years in the public accounting field with Ernst & Young and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Global Aero Logistics is the parent company of ATA Airlines, North American Airlines and World Airways. The company has a combined fleet of 56 aircraft and more than 5,000 employees.
