BBVA, Citigroup, Societe Generale and WestLB Win USD 1.3 Billion Mandate With Votorantim Group

BBVA, Citigroup, Societe Generale and WestLB have been mandated on a USD 1.3 billion Senior Credit Facility for the Votorantim Group, one of the largest and most successful private industrial conglomerates in Latin America.

The facility, which will be used to provide permanent financing for general corporate purposes in the United States and Latin America, will be structured as a USD 1.0 billion 5 year and 7 year Pre-Export Financing and a USD 300 million, 3 year Working Capital Facility.

Invitations to Mandated Lead Arrangers have been extended this week with plans to launch retail syndication in early January 2008.
