Thomson Completes the Sale of its Audio Video Activities Outside Europe to Audiovox

Paris, January 3rd, 2008 — Thomson (Euronext 18453 ; NYSE : TMS) today announced it completed the sale of its consumer electronics Audio-Video activities outside Europe (AV US/ROW) to Audiovox Corporation (NASDAQ: VOXX), a US listed company, on December 31, 2007, as expected and as indicated in its press release of October 16, 2007. Terms of the deal are unchanged.

This transaction was the last step of the process of exiting the CE activities and repositioning the Group.
