Stratigent and Google Host "Web Analytics Wednesday" in Chicago
Market Wire, February, 2008
Stratigent, the global web analytics and marketing optimization consulting firm, and Google Inc., creator of Google Analytics(TM), a free enterprise-class web service that enables users to understand how their visitors interact with their website and help increase online business, announced today that they will jointly host Web Analytics Wednesday in Chicago.
Google and Stratigent, one of the premier Google Analytics Authorized Consultants, have teamed up to sponsor the upcoming Web Analytics Wednesday event in Chicago. The event is open to everyone -- practitioners, vendors or even students -- and is a free event allowing locals with web analytics interests to interact and network. The event will be held February 13, 2008 at Google's Chicago office. Complimentary registration is available to the first 150 registrants at http://www.webanalyticsdemystified.com/wednesday/index.asp?event_id=2447
"We're very excited to co-host this event with Google and provide a forum for web analytics practitioners to network and exchange their experiences in the analytics world. The event should also prove to be a great learning experience for those new to the industry," says Bill Bruno, Principal of Stratigent.
"There is so much talk among marketers about metrics and analytics, but many companies are only beginning to figure out how to allocate the right resources, particularly people, to these efforts. Web Analytics Wednesday is a great event to help Chicago-area analytics professionals connect with each other and share ideas about how to maximize marketing effectiveness and improve customer experience online," says Kristen Nomura, Senior Account Manager at Google.
Web Analytics Wednesday was founded by Eric T. Peterson, author of "Web Analytics Demystified." According to www.webanalyticsdemystified.com , Web Analytics Wednesday can be described as "a global effort to put faces with names and to get local members of the web analytics community networking."
