Carbon Sciences Completes Mobile Prototype
Market Wire, February, 2008
Carbon Sciences, Inc. (OTCBB: CABN), the developer of a breakthrough technology to transform Earth-destroying carbon dioxide (CO2) into Earth-friendly carbon products, announced today that it has completed its much anticipated Mobile Prototype.
The Mobile Prototype is a demonstration of Carbon Sciences' breakthrough carbon transformation technology. Installed in a Carbon Sciences lab truck, the Mobile Prototype will be driven on tour to support the Company's public awareness and business development initiatives. The Mobile Prototype demonstrates the Company's GreenCarbon(TM) Technology for converting harmful CO2 into carbonate products for use in building materials, paper, plastics, fertilizers and other industrial applications.
"With the successful completion of our Mobile Prototype, we are launching a concentrated West Coast media and industry relations tour. Over the next several months we will be demonstrating our GreenCarbon technology to investors, journalists, industry analysts, CO2 emitters and government officials," commented Derek McLeish, Carbon Sciences' CEO. "To many, the concept that CO2, a gas, can be transformed into a harmless and useful solid is a novel idea. The Mobile Prototype makes it real and demonstrates that Carbon Sciences can help solve the problem of global warming."
Mr. McLeish added: "The Mobile Prototype is the first phase of our research and development plan. In Phase II, we intend to develop the GreenCarbon Mini-Pilot System that can be deployed for actual field tests. In Phase III, we will develop a Commercial Pilot Plant for use by power plants and other large CO2 emitters."
The Carbon Sciences Mobile Prototype will begin its tour at the RedChip Investor Conference in Scottsdale Arizona on February 7. Other tour stops during the month of February include, Phoenix, Los Angeles and San Francisco.
