Get Vertical: A Marketing Workshop to Boost Your Bottom Line
Market Wire, February, 2008
VerticalResponse, Inc. ( www.verticalresponse.com ) today announces a series of Email Marketing Workshops for key vertical markets, to teach small businesses how to maximize their online marketing campaigns. The first takes place in Austin, TX in advance of South by Southwest, where VerticalResponse will present a workshop on how comprehensive email marketing can significantly improve small business. Workshops in Denver, CO and San Francisco, CA will round out the series.
Each workshop will not only explain why email marketing is a successful means to a business' desired end, but will also demo various elements of the VerticalResponse product, cover a series of best marketing practices, and highlight real case studies from within the community.
"Small business owners have one thing in common -- they're passionate about their business and its success, and often have to wear multiple hats," said Janine Popick, founder and CEO of VerticalResponse. "We've designed this series to let small business owners know they can still focus most of their energy on running the business, and VerticalResponse will give them things they need to run the marketing aspects of their business."
The three-hour workshops include:
-- An Introduction to Email Marketing for the Small Business, covering:
- Why Email
- Best Practices
- What Works
-- A DEMO: How to Create an Email Campaign -- No Technical Experience
Necessary!
-- Panel with local Customers
-- Whats working
"VerticalResponse has had a huge impact on the success of my business, and I think it's really important for other owners to hear about it from people who've 'been there,'" said Albert DiPadova, of Due Maternity. "To be able to move the needle so significantly, without having to dedicate a huge amount of time or money, has been incredible."
The tradeshow tour is the latest in a series of programs VerticalResponse has implemented to help current and potential customers learn from each other, and from best practices observed at the macro level. Other programs include Popick's award-winning blog, the VerticalResponse Lounge, their own online community, the VerticalResponse -- Email Marketing for Small Business Facebook group, topical podcasts, and more.
VerticalResponse Email Marketing Workshop Tour Schedule -- Austin, TX at the Driskill Hotel, March 6th -- Denver, CO at the Adams Mark Hotel, March 27th -- San Francisco, CA at the Hotel Nikko, April 23
