Carrier Access Stockholders Approve Acquisition by Turin Networks

Carrier Access® Corporation (NASDAQ: CACS), a leading provider of data and voice transport solutions, today announced that at the special meeting of stockholders held today, its stockholders approved the previously announced acquisition of Carrier Access by Turin Networks, Inc. The parties anticipate that the closing of the transaction will occur today. Upon completion of the transaction, Carrier Access shares will cease trading on Nasdaq, and stockholders will have the right to receive $2.60 in cash, without interest, per share of Carrier Access' common stock.
