Quebecor Media Completes Acquisition of Nurun

Quebecor Media Inc. announces today that through its wholly-owned subsidiary, 4434943 Canada Inc., it has acquired at Cdn$4.75 per share, pursuant to the statutory compulsory acquisition procedures under the Canada Business Corporations Act, all of the 1,229,877 common shares of Nurun Inc. that remain outstanding (TSX: NUR) and that were not deposited to Quebecor Media's offer to acquire all of Nurun's common shares. Quebecor Media now owns, directly and indirectly, 100% of all of Nurun's issued and outstanding common shares. Nurun anticipates that its common shares will be delisted from the Toronto Stock Exchange as of the close of markets on February 27, 2008.
Nurun also announces today that it has accepted the resignations of Luc Filiatreault, Francois Gervais, Bertrand P. Menard, Erik Peladeau, Jacques-Herve Roubert and Jean-Pierre Valeriola from its Board of Directors. Two new directors, namely Louis Morin and Pierre Karl Peladeau, now join Marc Tremblay on Nurun's Board. Quebecor Media and Nurun wish to thank each of the outgoing directors for their service and important contribution to Nurun's Board over the years.
