Kevin Lee to Deliver Afternoon Keynote at Electronic Retailer Magazine's Second LiveEdit Lab
Market Wire, February, 2008
Electronic Retailer Magazine announced that the afternoon keynote address at its second LiveEdit Lab at Manhattan's American Conference Center will be delivered by Kevin Lee. Lee is the co-founder and executive chairman of Didit, a leading search and interactive marketing agency based in Rockville Centre, N.Y. One of the industry's foremost search engine marketing experts, Lee was a founding board member of the Search Engine Marketing Professional Organization (SEMPO) and served as the agency's first elected chairman. An in-demand speaker, he is regularly quoted in The Wall Street Journal, the New York Times and BusinessWeek. Lee also is the author of "The Eyes Have It: How to Market in an Age of Divergent Consumers, Media Chaos and Advertising Anarchy."
Electronic Retailer previously announced that Geoff Ramsey, co-founder and CEO of eMarketer, will deliver the event's opening keynote address.
The magazine is also pleased to announce West Corporation as the Presenting Sponsor. Based in Omaha, Neb., West is a leading provider of customer-contact solutions and voice-related services. "We are extremely pleased to have West join us in presenting our second LiveEdit Lab," says Gina Mullins-Cohen, executive vice president of media. "West offers best-in-class solutions of value to any multichannel marketer, whether the goal is to grow revenues, obtain customers, enhance profitability of the existing customer base or even break into new markets."
The LiveEdit format, which debuted this January in Los Angeles, is entirely unique from other conferences, delivering the content of Electronic Retailer in a live forum. Attendees interact with the editors and industry leaders who make Electronic Retailer the leading publication for multichannel retailers, and network with the conference's speakers.
The one-day event begins with two concurrent sessions: an online marketing training session and an executive media summit co-moderated by Maria Kennedy of Discovery Communications and Dick Wechsler of Lockard & Wechsler. Industry experts will discuss topics including advanced e-commerce platforms, online video, social media and the changing nature of public relations in the digital age.
Registration costs $595 and includes a networking reception. To register or for more information, contact Gina Cohen at 949-489-5501 or at gcohen@retailing.org , or visit www.electronicretailermag.com/liveedit .
