American Express Incentive Services Names New Vice President of Marketing

American Express Incentive Services (AEIS), a prepaid incentive leader, recently named Matt Harris as vice president of marketing. Harris brings a unique understanding of motivation, incentives and loyalty philosophy to the prepaid space. Harris will lead the development and implementation of AEIS' strategic initiatives for promotions, products, quality and research.
"Prepaid incentives are constantly evolving," said Harris. "Businesses that optimize this powerful motivational tool do so by taking advantage of the brandability and customization attributes of plastic. AEIS combines motivation science, research and philosophy to deliver next generation prepaid solutions that drive results."
Harris joined the AEIS leadership team in January 2008 after serving as vice president, marketing and solution development, at Maritz, Inc. During his tenure, he led efforts to create a new, unified brand and helped introduce a more solutions-focused go-to-market strategy. Harris also served as managing director, J Walter Thompson Advertising, where he was part of the leadership team for the B2B marketing group.
Harris holds a bachelor's degree from Missouri State University and an MBA from Washington University where he now acts as a member of their Marketing Communications and Advertising Board. He also serves as a board member for Catch a Falling Star Inc. and as a volunteer for numerous charities.
