Center Bancorp, Inc. Names Elliot I. Kramer and Howard Kent to the Board of Directors

Center Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ: CNBC), parent company to Union Center National Bank of Union, New Jersey, announced that at its Board meeting on February 28, 2008, the Corporation named Elliot I. Kramer and Howard Kent to the board of directors effective February 28, 2008.
Mr. Kramer is an Attorney and Partner with the law firm of Fox Rothschild LLP (Roseland, New Jersey) and, in addition to his tax practice, Mr. Kramer performs sophisticated estate planning for high net worth clients.
Mr. Kent is one of the founders and principals of Real Estate Equities Group, LLC and has been active in the real estate investment and management business for over 30 years. Mr. Kent, personally, is a shareholder of the Corporation.
