Market Wire, March, 2008
Mark Logic® Corporation , provider of the industry's leading XML content platform, today announced it has joined the Interop Vendor Alliance (IVA), a community of software and hardware vendors working together to enhance interoperability with Microsoft systems. Mark Logic will work with Microsoft and other vendors to improve interoperability of MarkLogic Server with the Microsoft ecosystem.
"Mark Logic is an excellent addition to the Interop Vendor Alliance," said Sam Rosenbalm, Interop Vendor Alliance manager, Microsoft. "MarkLogic Server centralizes and enhances information access and delivery, and improved interoperability with Microsoft products paves the way for solution providers to easily put MarkLogic at the heart of comprehensive information workflow solutions."
"Our goal in joining the Alliance is to ensure the interoperability of Mark Logic and Microsoft solutions through Open XML, providing customers with the best possible information access experience," said Andy Feit, senior vice president of marketing for Mark Logic Corporation. "The Interop Vendor Alliance provides an effective platform for working with Microsoft and other leading vendors to ensure our systems work together to dynamically deliver content, however and wherever users need it."
Mark Logic can help with interoperability initiatives by leveraging the strength of Open XML to simplify information reuse, dynamically assemble documents from existing information, and deliver information in context to any device.
In cooperation with Microsoft and other IVA members and partners, Mark Logic will further demonstrate the use of Open XML in real-world business scenarios at the Microsoft Interoperability Lab in Boston, March 5-6, 2008.
The Interop Vendor Alliance is designed to better connect people, data, and diverse systems through enhanced interoperability with Microsoft technology. The organization serves as a collaborative forum for developing and sharing common technology models, facilitates scenario-based testing of multi-vendor solutions, and works to communicate additional best practices to users.
