Resilience Launches DeepAUTOMATION Global Control System at Check Point Experience in Las Vegas
Market Wire, March, 2008
Resilience Corporation announced the DeepAUTOMATION Global Control System today at Check Point Experience in Las Vegas. The DeepAUTOMATION Global Control System was developed to help network security departments tackle two of their most important challenges today: reducing complexity and cutting costs. It breaks new ground in network security management, with unique features like OnDemand Deployment, Virtual Redundancy and Automated Script Management & Control.
With the Resilience DeepAUTOMATION Global Control System, IT security teams can automate the complete deployment, monitoring, patching, and upgrading of network security solutions, whether local or remote. Additional network security appliances, with pre-loaded applications, can be provisioned and deployed automatically -- when needed. A single system can serve as a viable backup for many systems, significantly cutting the cost of redundancy. DeepAUTOMATION also leverages the skills and experience of an IT security department, facilitating the consistent execution of custom scripts and programs across multiple locations.
With a single management console, IT teams can manage an entire group or class of systems and deploy systems in a "touch-once manage remotely" scenario. Grouping of systems reduces the complexity and cost of managing the entire system of network security. IT teams can reliably and quickly manage change, manage releases, and reduce the time and risk required to roll out version updates and patches.
"The Resilience DeepAUTOMATION Global Control System extends and amplifies the value delivered historically in our DeepAUTOMATION Appliances," said Paul White, CEO of Resilience. "We're automating the full life cycle management of network security solutions and cutting the operating cost of network security like no one else in the industry. And there's a lot more to come."
The DeepAUTOMATION Global Control System, slated to ship in the second quarter of 2008, will be managed by industry veteran and Senior Product Manager Paul Cubbage. Resilience tapped Mr. Cubbage for the senior role based on his extensive industry experience and his deep understanding of the core technology behind the DeepAUTOMATION Global Control System.
