Sitel's Director of Fraud Prevention and Investigations to Discuss Outsourcing Security Trends at Upcoming Conferences

Sitel, a leading global business process outsourcing (BPO) provider, today announced that Joel Bartow, CFE, CPP, the Company's Director of Fraud Prevention and Investigations, has been invited to speak at two upcoming industry conferences. The sessions, sponsored by the Institute of Internal Auditors and ASIS International, respectively, will focus on security concerns in the outsourcing environment and the newest fraud prevention technologies that BPO providers are adopting to counteract the threat of identity theft.

A former FBI special agent and licensed private investigator, Bartow works closely with Sitel's management team to ensure that its clients' sensitive information remains protected. Bartow has authored a book on fraud prevention and, in September 2007, was named a member of the exclusive Economic Crime Council of ASIS International.

Bartow's session at the Institute of Internal Auditors conference, "Fraud Prevention in the Age of Offshore Outsourcing," will take place on Friday, May 16 from 2:30 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. EDT at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Resort and Spa in Bonita Springs, Florida. In his address, Bartow will provide attendees tips and best practices for ensuring the integrity of customers' information in outsourced customer care centers.

Bartow's presentation at the ASIS International conference, "Information Security in the Age of Offshore Outsourcing," will be held on May 20 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. PDT at the Westin Casuarina Casino & Spa in Las Vegas, Nevada.
