Tri-State CIO Forum Announces Call for Nominations for Best Practices Awards Program

The Tri-State CIO Forum , produced in conjunction with Computerworld, InfoWorld and the Society for Information Management (SIM), is seeking IT-end-user organization case study submissions for its "Best Practices Awards Program."

Nominations will be considered for IT end-users only and are accepted from IT users themselves, their public relations representatives, or vendors on behalf of their IT end-user customers. Multiple submissions of case studies describing different deployments per IT end-user/organization will be considered.

Five finalists in each category will be recognized on May 7th at the Tri-State CIO Forum being held at the Millennium Broadway Hotel in New York City. The top honoree in each category will be recognized on the main stage during the Awards Ceremony held at the end of the day, followed by the networking cocktail reception. All finalists will be recognized on the event website, in an event press release, and online at Computerworld , InfoWorld and SIM .

Honorees and finalists will be recognized in each of the following five categories:

Adapting to Globalized Customer and User Needs

Nominations in this category will recognize a Tri-State IT user organization that has demonstrated the ability to create technology solutions that meet the global needs of its customers, both internal and external.

Attracting and Retaining Talent in Changing Markets

Nominations in this category will recognize a Tri-State IT user organization that is recognized among its peers as a destination workplace -- a model for attracting and retaining the best IT talent in the market.

Closing the Continuous Business Alignment Gap

Nominations in this category will recognize a Tri-State IT user organization that has shown an ongoing ability to address the critical importance of aligning IT solutions to business needs.

Creating a Risk-Taking, Business-Thinking Culture

Nominations in this category will recognize a Tri-State IT user organization that has demonstrated positive business results from rewarding and encouraging risk-taking approaches to solving business challenges with technology.

Innovating in a Mission-Critical Environment

Nominations in this category will recognize a Tri-State IT user organization that has shown the ability to deliver innovative improvements to mission-critical business processes and technology.
