ExtendMedia Appoints Former AOL Executive Tom MacIsaac to Board of Directors

ExtendMedia Corporation, a provider of digital content services software, today announced the appointment of Tom MacIsaac to the company's Board of Directors. MacIsaac brings more than 15 years of deep experience in the digital media, marketing and advertising industries to the company, and will help guide ExtendMedia's continued success in bringing high-quality digital media content solutions to market. MacIsaac is currently the President of Cove Street Partners, a boutique investment and advisory firm working with entrepreneurs and investors to create and build Internet software, digital media and advertising companies.

Previously, MacIsaac was SVP of Strategy and Corporate Development for AOL's Advertising.com division, a subsidiary of Time Warner. He was responsible for strategic planning, M&A and strategic business development and played a major role in the transformation of AOL into a leading, diversified advertising business through his leadership in over $1 billion in AOL acquisitions.
Prior to AOL, MacIsaac served as President and CEO of Lightningcast, Inc., a leading ad management platform and ad network company, acquired by AOL, working with customers that included Comcast, Disney/ABC, Microsoft, MTV, NBA, Reuters and Warner Bros. In 2000, MacIsaac founded Internet newsletter publisher Backwire, Inc. which was acquired by Leap Wireless.
