Qi Promotes and Expands

Qi, a full service digital agency of CommonHealth, today announced two promotions and five new hires.

Promotions

Buddy Scalera has been promoted from senior director, interactive content and market research to vice president, interactive content and market research. In his new position, Mr. Scalera will oversee the digital team and research, develop and deliver new interactive online strategies, including social and viral marketing, web content, search engine marketing campaigns and mobile applications. Mr. Scalera has been with Qi for two years.

Elizabeth Castillo has been elevated from senior graphic designer to group art supervisor of interactive media. In her new role, Ms. Castillo's core responsibilities will include the implementation of best practices in design, infrastructure architecture, application of animation, video, online branding and social media marketing. Ms. Castillo has worked at Qi for five years.

New Hires

Derev Diggs comes to Qi as a senior interactive media developer. Mr. Diggs will ensure clients' business objectives are met by creating real-world applications for the Internet and desktop by incorporating various types of media. Previously, Mr. Diggs was a senior multimedia developer at Temel (now Zeta Interactive), a strategic marketing and branding agency located in Boonton.

Shane Mayer joins Qi as an account supervisor. In this position, Mr. Mayer will manage the tactical planning processes for interactive strategies, focusing on the development and implementation of marketing plans. Most recently, Mr. Mayer was a senior marketing manager at WebMD, an online provider of health information services located in New York City.

Kevin Kaszuba comes to Qi as a motion designer/video editor. In this role, Mr. Kaszuba will design motion graphics and animation for use across multiple media platforms. Additionally, he will ensure the proper production and editing of all video projects. Prior to joining Qi, Mr. Kaszuba was a senior interactive designer at JDK Design, a branding and design agency located in Burlington, VT.

Lisa Martin joins Qi from HLS, the founding CommonHealth medical-education unit, as an associate project manager. In this position, Ms. Martin will be responsible for managing project resources, schedules, deliverables and establishing clear communication among project members. Ms. Martin has been with the CommonHealth network for more than a year.

Courtney Hutchins also comes to Qi from HLS. As an eMarketing associate, Ms. Hutchins will manage interactive content projects, monitor industry trends and develop new marketing and advertising programs. Ms. Hutchins has been an employee with the CommonHealth organization for six years.
