With both versions, High-resolution video material can be edited, uploaded and burned to Blu-ray Discs™. Beyond this, MAGIX also offers Movie Edit Pro 14 PLUS as a full HD video editing and DVD authoring software, including support for the latest AVCHD format, which provides users with the necessary control to bring high-definition sharpness to the big screen. AVCHD is a comprehensive digital standard for recording audio and video in clearly defined compression formats. Today's new AVCHD camcorders use the MPEG-4 video format for high-resolution images and Movie Edit Pro supports outputting of content onto various storage media including hard drives, memory cards and DVD. Finished video productions can then be viewed in full HD quality using, for example, any Blu-ray player.
