Golden Spirit Gets Recognition From Syngas Refiner and CNNMoney.com

Market Wire,  April, 2008

Golden Spirit Enterprises Ltd. (OTCBB: GSPT) reports that the Waste-to-Energy sector has taken notice of the Company's Cradle to Cradle (CTC Greencycle) Thermal Oxidation Process System (TOPS), which is a solid waste recycling and biomass derived renewable energy facility with greenhouse and algae subsystems.

Robert Klein states, "We are very excited about the recent articles featured in Syngas Refiner & Gas Leads and CNNMoney.com regarding our Thermal Oxidation Process System (TOPS) CTC Greencycle plants."

In North America, each person throws away at least 162 tons of garbage per year. It's enough to fill 1000 football fields piled thirty stories high. Close to 60 billion pounds of plastic is produced every year, and 25% of it is used for packaging food.

The CTC Greencycle (TOPS) plant allows for the gasification of 100 tons per day of unsorted municipal solid waste, achieving over 90% reduction in the waste headed for landfill. In the CTC Greencycle gasification process of decomposing these wastes, energy released in the carbon conversion cycle is harnessed to provide energy to a 2.2MWTurbine/Generator. In addition, an algae growing subsystem is included in order to assimilate CO2 generated by the gasification process and convert it into oil for use as bio-fuel. Revenues from the sale of electricity and condensing steam (cogeneration) together with a tipping fee for processing Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) generate "utility grade" net profits.

The larger CTC Greencycle, Controlled Oxidation Reduction Environments (CORE) gasification plants operate on the same technical principal as the TOPS plants, though with a much higher ton/day capacity (500-1000) and resulting higher energy output.

The consumption habits of modern consumer lifestyles are causing a huge worldwide waste problem. Having overfilled local landfill capacities, many first world nations are now exporting their refuse to third world countries. This is having a devastating impact on ecosystems and cultures throughout the world. The gasification of garbage to generate power, known as waste-to-energy, is among the cleanest sources of electrical power in the world. Converting garbage to energy reduces the volume of the waste by 90%, saving space in local landfills while providing a sensible and economical alternative to the use of fossil and nuclear fuels.

The United States Environmental Protection Agency states that "Waste-to-energy plants are the lowest impact power plants."
