SymPowerco Announces Development Partnership

SymPowerco Corporation (PINKSHEETS: SYMW) CEO John Davenport today announces that Carleton University in Canada's capital city of Ottawa, Ontario will be SymPowerco's primary development partner in the company's Flowing Electrolyte Direct Methanol Fuel Cell (FE DMFC) program.

SymPowerco will partner on the program with Carleton's Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department, one of North America's premier engineering institutions. The Principal Investigator on the project for Carleton University will be Dr. Feridun Hamdullahpur, Provost and Vice President (Academic) of the University.

Dr. Edgar Matida and Dr. Mohammad Golriz, respectively Assistant and Adjunct Professors will be co-investigators in the project, with Dr. Matida being the primary liason with SymPowerco. The FE DMFC Project at Carleton is expected to provide research opportunities for several undergraduate and graduate students.

It is anticipated that there will be multiple concurrent SymPowerco projects at Carleton University with some development work remaining directly with SymPowerco and its industrial partners. The Carleton team and SymPowerco's Management are currently defining the objectives of the Carleton program.
