RCS Annual Shareholder Meeting

PIMCO Strategic Global Government Fund, Inc. (NYSE: RCS), a closed-end, intermediate-term bond fund whose primary objective is to generate a level of income higher than that generated by high quality, intermediate-term U.S. debt securities, today announced that the Annual Meeting of Shareholders of the Fund will be held at 800 Newport Center Drive, 6th Floor, Newport Beach, California 92660 on Monday, June 9, 2008 at 10:00 a.m., Pacific time for the purpose of electing directors. The Board of Directors has set the close of business on Friday, April 25, 2008 as the record date for determining shareholders entitled to notice of and to vote at the meeting or any adjournments of the meeting.
