Pentagon Federal Credit Union Offers Equity Loans at 4.99% APR
Market Wire, April, 2008
Pentagon Federal Credit Union members now have the opportunity to obtain a home equity loan at an unbelievable rate -- just 4.99% APR!
On April 10, 2008, Bankrate.com reported a national average equity loan rate of 7.64% APR for a $30,000 loan. Pentagon Federal Credit Union's rate of 4.99% APR for 120 months would save over $4,800 over the life of the loan on a $30,000 loan.
"This is a great time for members to consider tapping into their home equity to pay down higher-rate debt or to finance home repairs or upgrades," said Rod Raszler, Vice President of Mortgage Operations for Pentagon Federal Credit Union. "With rates this low, this is also a fantastic opportunity to refinance an existing home equity loan."
