TSA Names David Wray Federal Security Director for Three Tennessee Airports

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has named David Wray as the federal security director for McGhee Tyson (TYS), Chattanooga Metropolitan (CHA), and Tri-Cities Regional (TRI) airports in Tennessee.

"David's skills and experience will serve him well in overseeing TSA's security operations in East Tennessee," said Mo McGowan, TSA's assistant administrator for Security Operations.

Prior to joining TSA, Wray spent 25 years with the Greensboro, N.C., police department, serving as its assistant chief of police for five years and chief for three years.

Wray holds Bachelor of Arts and Master of Public Affairs degrees from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
