Hamilton Aerospace Technologies Announces the Addition of Next Generation 737 Aircraft to Its Repair Station Certificate and Receipt of Diamond Award
Market Wire, April, 2008
Hamilton Aerospace Technologies, Inc. (HAT), a wholly owned subsidiary of Global Aircraft Solutions, Inc. (OTCBB: GACF), today announced that it has received Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approval to add Boeing 737-600, 737-700, 737-800 and 737-900 aircraft to its repair station certificate. Together with its existing Boeing 737 certifications, HAT is now authorized to perform airframe heavy maintenance up through 'D' check on all series Boeing 737 aircraft.
HAT also announced that, for the sixth year in a row, it is the recipient of the FAA "Diamond Certificate of Excellence" for maintenance training. The Diamond Certificate of Excellence is the FAA's highest maintenance honor, designed to encourage aviation maintenance technicians and their employers to participate in initial and recurrent training programs.
Finally, HAT also announced that it has completed all work and successfully delivered to Canadian North Airlines the 737-200 aircraft (S/N 23074) that its parent company, Global Aircraft Solutions, sold to Canadian North.
David T. Querio, Chief Operating Officer of Hamilton Aerospace, stated, "Notwithstanding the fact that we have won this award each of the previous five years, the Diamond Certificate of Excellence is a very prestigious and difficult award to achieve. It is very satisfying, and a tribute to the hard work of all our employees, to receive reconfirmation from the Federal Aviation Administration that, for the sixth year in a row, we are not only meeting, but also exceeding their training standards."
Gordon Hamilton, CEO of Hamilton Aerospace, added, "I would like to congratulate all the individual FAA award winners on our staff and the Company as a whole for winning its sixth straight Diamond Certificate of Excellence. I would also like to commend David Querio, our Quality Control staff, and everyone else that played a role in obtaining our new 737NG certifications. The addition of the next generation 737s to our repair station rating is a very significant economic event for our Company, as it will allow us to better serve our existing clients and expand our customer base."
