Axiom(R) Stack Surpasses 2,000 Downloads Since SXSW Launch and Integrates OpenID

Web 2.0 Expo -- Axiom Software, Inc. announced that its Axiom Stack Web framework personal edition has surpassed 2,000 downloads in the first month of release. Launched in conjunction with the March SXSW conference in Austin, Texas, Axiom Stack is a rapid development Web framework that provides everything developers need to build more, better Web applications, using server-side Javascript.

Axiom Stack is a simple, yet flexible and robust application stack that speeds application development time by using server-side JavaScript as opposed to compiled Java Servlets. Axiom Stack is Java-based and interprets Javascript through Rhino.

The Axiom Blog, released as part of the Axiom Stack personal edition, is a feature rich blog application that now includes OpenID. By integrating OpenID forms, users are free to use their OpenID for authentication. The management interface also features a Whitelisting feature so blog administrators can manage OpenID users.
