2008 Wainhouse Research Collaboration Summit Set for Boston
Market Wire, April, 2008
The 2008 Wainhouse Research Collaboration Summit, scheduled to take place July 16-18 at the Royal Sonesta Hotel on the Cambridge side of the Charles River in Boston, will bring attendees in touch with the technologies that are impacting today's world of enterprise communications as well as next-gen solutions for university, government, and corporate teaching.
The Summit conference will feature a keynote from Professor Andrew Lippman of MIT's famed media laboratory, presentations from multiple Wainhouse Research analysts, and speakers from government and education institutions who are using videoconferencing and unified communications solutions in a wide variety of configurations.
The Boston event also includes Wainhouse Research's Technology Showcase in which multiple suppliers give quick 12 minute demonstrations in serial fashion, followed by a networking reception, which provides attendees with the opportunity to see new conferencing and collaboration solutions in more depth.
"The 2008 Summit will highlight the exciting developments currently happening in unified communications, including extensions to mobile, social networking, and telepresence. The event is a rare opportunity for end users and industry insiders to network with partners and colleagues and to discuss the current state of technology and markets," says Wainhouse Research's Managing Partner Andrew W. Davis.
The Wainhouse Research Collaboration Summit, now in its eighth year in North America, has become the premier industry event and brings together the top enterprise conferencing and collaboration managers, videoconferencing professionals, meeting facilitators, and IT/network decision-makers with the industry's leading innovators, service providers, and experts. The Boston Summit, which offers extensive networking opportunities for all attendees, features a technology showcase on July 16 and a conference with workshops on July 17-18.
Gold Sponsors of the 2008 event include Applied Global Technologies, Dialcom, Emblaze-VCON, Masergy, and SMART Technologies.
