VistaPrint Wins Windsor Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Award

VistaPrint Limited (NASDAQ: VPRT), the small business marketing company that has served over 13 million people worldwide, today announced that it was named a winner at the Windsor-Essex Regional Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards for 2008. The company won in the "International Business" category and was also a finalist for the "Product Innovation" category.
VistaPrint, which is a global company that operates 19 localized Web sites throughout Europe and North America, was recognized as the company that was the most effective on a global scale in 2008. With two production facilities, including one in Windsor, ON, the company averages 33,000 orders per day and ships to 120 countries around the world. The awards ceremony took place on April 8. It was the second year in a row the company was listed as a finalist for both awards.

"Having been a finalist for the same two awards last year, it was nice to finally break through and get the win this year. We want to thank the Chamber for recognizing our efforts both locally and on a global scale," said VistaPrint's Windsor Plant Manager Paul Henderson.
"We're obviously very proud of our state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Windsor, but this award also shows the strides that we have made in our efforts to expand globally," said Chief Operating Officer Wendy Cebula. VistaPrint first completed construction of its North American production facility in Windsor in June of 2005, but the plant has since been expanded to help meet the growing demand and company growth. All of the company's North American orders are processed at the plant in Windsor, which currently employs over 400 people. VistaPrint also has a production facility in Venlo, the Netherlands, as well as offices in Hamilton, Bermuda; Montego Bay, Jamaica; Barcelona, Spain and Lexington, Massachusetts. Globally the company employs over 1,300 people.
The mandate of the Windsor & District Chamber of Commerce is to foster an environment which allows Windsor businesses to compete and prosper.
