MIT's Andrew Lippman to Keynote Wainhouse Research Collaboration Summit
Market Wire, May, 2008
"Surviving in a Digital Life World" (or in other words, how to avoid digital death) is the title of the Wainhouse Research Collaboration Summit's keynote presentation to be given July 17 by Dr. Andrew Lippman, associate director of MIT's famous Media Laboratory. In his more than 30 years at MIT, Dr. Lippman has created research programs on entertainment, interactivity, networking, radio communications, personal computers, and graphics. As the creator and head of the Lab's Viral Communications program, Dr. Lippman is one of the world's foremost authorities on viral communication and how this explosive new development will transform the communications industry and business in general.
The Summit conference will feature presentations from multiple Wainhouse Research analysts as well as speakers from government and education institutions who are using videoconferencing and unified communications solutions in a wide variety of configurations.
The Boston event also features Wainhouse Research's Technology Showcase in which multiple suppliers give quick 12 minute demonstrations in serial fashion, followed by a networking reception that provides attendees with the opportunity to see new conferencing and collaboration solutions in more depth.
The Wainhouse Research Collaboration Summit, now in its eighth year in North America, has become the premier industry event and brings together the top enterprise conferencing and collaboration managers, videoconferencing professionals, meeting facilitators, and IT/network decision-makers with the industry's leading innovators, service providers, and experts. The Boston Summit, which offers extensive networking opportunities for all attendees, features a technology showcase on July 16 and a conference with workshops on July 17-18.
