Avaya Appoints New Senior Executive to Lead Global Sales

Avaya Inc. today announced the appointment of Todd Abbott to lead its global sales and field marketing organizations. Abbott was named senior vice president and president, Field Operations.

Abbott joins Avaya from Seagate Technology, where he was executive vice president, Sales, Marketing and Customer Service.

Prior to joining Seagate, he was senior vice president, World Wide Sales and Marketing for Symbol Technologies. Abbot also held positions of increasing responsibility at Cisco Systems, Inc., including group vice president, Service Providers in Europe, vice president of South Asia, and sales leadership roles in the U.S. financial services sector.
