DALSA to Demonstrate Packaging Inspection Applications at EastPack 2008 on June 3 - 5

DALSA Corporation (TSX: DSA), a global leader in machine vision technology, plans to demonstrate its end user applications for packaging inspection next week at the EastPack show at DALSA Booth #3405. The company will also announce the release of its new iNspect Color software, which enables verification, sorting and inspection based on color.

                --  DALSA Vision Appliance IPD VA61 with 2 asynchronous
                    Genie cameras using Sherlock software to inspect two
                    sides of a pharmaceutical bottle for optical character
                    recognition (OCR) and barcode
                --  DALSA Vision Appliance IPD VA31 with Sherlock software
                    conducting assembly verification on a medical device
                --  DALSA Vision Appliance IPD VA61 with Genie camera using
                    new iNspect Color software to verify color on deodorant
                    stick
