Quebecor: Information on the 2008 Annual General Meeting of the Shareholders

Quebecor Inc. (TSX: QBR.A)(TSX: QBR.B), announces that the annual general meeting of its shareholders will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2008 at 11:00 a.m.

The Board of Directors of the Company determined that it would not propose that KPMG LLP stand for reappointment as auditors of the Company, subject to regulatory requirements and shareholders' approval. Consequently, at the annual general meeting, shareholders will be invited to approve the appointment of Ernst & Young LLP as auditors of the Company.

The Audit Committee is of the opinion that there is no "reportable event" as defined in section 4.11(1) of National Instrument 51-102 - Continuous Disclosure Obligations, except with respect to an unresolved issue, within the meaning of said section, as of May 6, 2008. At that time, discussions with the auditors regarding management's views on the presentation of the operations of Quebecor World Inc. as discontinuing operations during the first quarter of 2008 were not finalized; consequently, management's views on this question had not yet been communicated to the Audit Committee for approval.

This unresolved issue had no impact on the decision by the Board of Directors to propose a new auditor.
