Imperial Capital, LLC Names Edward P. Mally as Managing Director, Fixed Income Research

Imperial Capital, LLC ("Imperial Capital") announces that Edward P. Mally has joined the firm's Research Group in New York as a Managing Director and will head Imperial Capital's Fixed Income Research Group. Ed comes to Imperial Capital with more than 21 years of experience in high yield and distressed debt research and investing, including 13 years of research department oversight. "I am very pleased to welcome Ed Mally to Imperial Capital," said Jason Reese, Co-President of Imperial Capital, LLC. "He brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership and experience to our research team."

Ed joins the firm from LM Isis Capital Partners, where he was Director of Research. Previously, from 2002 to 2008, Ed served as Head of Research for Murray Capital Management, a distressed debt hedge fund, where he managed the research department and conducted analysis of potential investments. Prior to Murray, Ed was with Leveraged Finance Group of CIBC World Markets for over seven years, where he served as Director of Distressed and High Yield Research and was a member of CIBC's High Yield Operating Committee. Ed received his B.S. degree in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and his M.B.A. in Finance from Columbia University. Ed currently serves on the Board of Overseers of the University of Pennsylvania Libraries.
