Suntron Corporation Awarded Contract From Awarepoint for the Real-time Awareness Solutions(R)

Suntron Corporation, a leading provider of integrated electronic manufacturing solutions and Computer Off-The-Shelf (COTS) design solutions with six (6) North American Facilities, announced today an agreement to manufacture complex (active RFID) systems and asset tracking products for Awarepoint Inc., ( www.awarepoint.com ) a leading provider of Real-time Location asset tracking systems and solutions.
As part of the contract commitment, Suntron will manufacture Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA(s)) for Tags and Sensors in its Tijuana, Mexico facility. Suntron's Tijuana, Mexico facility is a 79,000-square-foot facility located minutes from the California (USA) Border. Suntron's Tijuana Operation focuses on high-mix, low to medium volume electronic manufacturing services, including quick turn assembly of printed circuit cards, cable and harnesses, wire wrap backplanes and complete box build.
