New Release of Sabrix Application Delivers End-User Benefits to Tax Professionals as Well as Integration to Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12
Market Wire, June, 2008
Sabrix®, Inc., the leading provider of transaction tax management applications for companies of all sizes, announced its newest release of the Sabrix Application Suite, including full support for Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12. The latest release of the Sabrix Application Suite provides tax professionals with user interface (UI) and performance improvements that enable them to work more efficiently, enhanced reporting capabilities that improve the speed and quality of decision making, and support for Oracle's E-Business Suite Release 12, which is designed to ensure that companies compete effectively in the worldwide marketplace.
The newest release of the Sabrix Application Suite includes a new user interface that makes the application even easier to use and tasks simpler to complete with fewer clicks. Substantial performance enhancements, in conjunction with the simplified and streamlined UI, mean that tax professionals not only have a tool that is easier to use, they can also work more efficiently to lower the total cost of tax compliance. In addition to these UI changes, Sabrix announced support for the latest release of web browsers, Internet Explorer 7.0 and Firefox 2.0.
The latest release of the Sabrix Application Suite also includes standard and customer-specific reporting capabilities that drive better and timelier tax decisions by ensuring consistent and streamlined period-end processing and financial reporting across legal entities. The new release focuses on improving report generation by transforming data in the Sabrix Transaction Database into standard reports. The new release also drives global alignment, visibility, and control by providing standard reports for the European Community, the Middle East and Africa, Asia Pacific, and Latin America. In addition to an expanded list of standard reports, this latest release enables professionals to easily create company-specific reports that address unique business requirements.
The new release of the Sabrix Application Suite also integrates with the new tax module in Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12. The new Sabrix Integration for Oracle 12 provides a direct, point-to-point integration with Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12, eliminating the need for a separate application server or middleware, lowering maintenance costs and simplifying the IT environment. IT and tax professionals no longer have to configure and maintain tax requirements in Oracle, speeding deployment, minimizing risks to the overall ERP project, and shortening time-to-value. And, consistent with the benefits of the Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12, the new Sabrix integration centralizes tax functions to enable businesses to think, work, and manage globally and to deliver consistent financial reporting while meeting local requirements.
