Biofuels - The Next Generation With Leaders of the Biofuels Industry

Early biofuels used a lot of energy to produce so they had little positive impact on the environment, but the newer biofuels promise a cleaner environment.

Brent Erickson, executive vice president of the Industrial & Environmental Section of the Biotechnology Industry Organization, moderated a panel discussion about the future of biofuels.

"Sustainable BioFuels, Where Do We Go From Here?" featured Carlos Riva, president and CEO of Verenium and "Biotech Cleantech Nexus" featured Dr. Christophe Schilling, president, Genomatica.

Dr. Nicholas Dennis delivered the keynote at the summit.
