NIRI Silicon Valley Chapter Earns Top Award at NIRI National Conference

The Silicon Valley Chapter of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) today announced that it has earned the top award for the Best Overall Large Chapter in 2008. The chapter awards ceremony was held at the Annual NIRI National Conference in San Diego, California on June 7, 2008.
The Best Overall Large Chapter Award honors the local chapter for achieving excellence in chapter programming, special events, member services, communications, professional development and external affairs as well as possessing strong board management, strategic leadership succession, and exemplary use of volunteers. In addition to the Best Overall Chapter Award, NIRI Silicon Valley received the NIRI Chairman's Award for its Annual Spring Seminar, which attracted nearly 150 investor relations professionals from the Bay Area.
