"Grassoline" to Replace Oil

Fuel made from weeds and other biofuels have great potential in reducing our dependence on foreign oil, according to Martin Keller of the Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
In an interview at the 2008 Biotechnology Industry's Organization's annual convention, Keller dispelled a number of myths about biofuels in general and ethanol in particular. Ethanol actually improves engine performance, he says, and race cars run on pure ethanol.
