PRO AV Appoints Six AV Pros to Editorial Advisory Board

PRO AV , the leading magazine in the audiovisual industry, has appointed six members to its Editorial Advisory Board. Pro AV reaches more than 20,000 contractors, dealers, distributors, consultants and end-users. It was ranked the most read magazine, 3-to-1 over its competitors (Pacific Media Associates, 2006).

Made up of six distinguished professionals in the AV industry, the Editorial Advisory Board serves to keep Pro AV up-to-date on the latest technological changes in the industry and the best solutions to the everyday challenges readers face in the changing AV industry.
The Editorial Advisory Board members are:
Tim Cape, CTS-D, a former Pro AV columnist, is chairman of the Independent Consultants in AV Technologies Council for InfoComm International. He co-wrote InfoComm's Audiovisual Best Practices.
Kelly McCarthy, CTS, sits on the Board of Directors for the National Systems Contractors Association (NSCA). He also serves on the advisory boards of several post secondary educational institutions.
Brad Nelson, C-EST, CET, sits on the NSCA Board and has served on the organization's Regional Council and Education Committee.
Jay Paul, CTS, is vice president of engineering and quality assurance at the newly merged AVI-SPL. The combined company has completed more than 20,000 installations.
Tom Peters, CTS, has served as chairman of the InfoComm Board of Governors. He is currently on the steering committee for InfoComm's Systems Integration Leadership Council.
Pete Putman, CTS, ISF, is a Pro AV contributing editor and columnist. A longtime AV writer, publisher and instructor, Pete was named InfoComm's Educator of the Year at the InfoComm 2008 trade show in June.
