CAST Delivers Advanced Analytics and Quality Management With AIP 6.2

CAST, the leader in Automated Application Intelligence , today announced version 6.2 of its principal solution, Application Intelligence Platform (AIP). AIP is an automated system designed to measure the technical quality of software and the performance of development teams. This solution can read and analyze most major technologies across all layers of an application. AIP version 6.2 features include advanced analytics, integration with third party code analyzers, CAST's new "Action Plan" feature as well as expanded rules coverage.

CAST AIP 6.2 provides advanced features to filter and analyze application quality metrics, which allows managers to focus on a specific application's technical quality. Furthermore, a new export feature helps users perform advanced analytics on quality metrics data in Excel and other common reporting tools.

The new version also provides enhanced capability to integrate metrics generated from third party static code analyzers into the CAST Application Intelligence Platform. Metrics and data from third party tools can be seamlessly integrated into the AIP Dashboard to be viewed and tracked along with the data from AIP's native analyzers.

AIP's new "Action Plan" feature allows users to select critical violations and track them through a custom report. Users will also have the ability to see which of these violations have been fixed and monitor them from build to build. This greatly enhances the capability of the manager to assess and minimize project risks and prioritize resource allocation.
