Opawica Explorations Inc. Announces New CFO

Opawica Explorations Inc. ("Opawica" the "Company")(TSX: OPW) announces the appointment of Ms. Sandra Wong, CGA, as Chief Financial Officer ("CFO") of the Company and member of the Audit Committee.

Ms. Wong holds a Bachelors of Commerce degree in marketing from the University of British Columbia and obtained her Certified General Accountant (CGA) designation in 1999. Ms. Wong has over ten years of working experience with several TSX-Venture Exchange listed companies in the area of financial reporting and company management.

Ms. Wong replaces Mrs. Sylvia McLeod as CFO of the Company. The Company wishes to express its appreciation for the professional time and efforts provided by Mrs. McLeod as CFO of the Company within the past year.
