Customers can now own a highly personalized, fit-to-order pair of trouser jeans customized to the smallest detail -- and have them shipped in plenty of time for Fall.

indiDenim is a new custom made jeans brand for both women and men by custom apparel company indi. indi marries fashion with technology, allowing customers to take the design process into their own hands and create apparel which reflects their individual style, preferences and body proportions. indi backs all of its products with a guarantee, offering customer fit adjustments and a full refund policy.

indiDenim offers both men's custom jeans and women's custom jeans with literally hundreds of variations to choose from. The new Presidio trouser jean style is one of three styles available for women on the site, along with a fitted style (the SoMa) and a relaxed style (the Noe). After selecting a style, the customer chooses a fabric color, finish, rise, leg style, back pocket options, and special finishes such as sanding and distressing treatments. Also new on indiDenim.com are whiskering and tacking treatments, as well as an option for a customer to have his or her personal initials sanded onto a back pocket.

indi creates a unique pattern for each customer by aggregating answers to visually prompted fit questions such as "How do your jeans normally sit on your waist?" indiDenim automatically consolidates the customer's answers, along with a few basic measurements, to generate an individual pattern. The customer's jeans are cut and sewn from the pattern specification and shipped in about four weeks. Each pair of custom jeans costs between $135 to 145, with minimal extra charges for special additions such as personal initials.

If the jeans don't fit correctly, indi allows customers to return them for a full refund, but indi also offers a tool where customers may make fit adjustments to re-order a new garment with desired changes. All order information, including each customer's unique pattern, is saved indefinitely for future re-orders.

indiDenim also offers custom jeans for men, currently in two styles with additional styles in the works. Jean styles for both women and men are named after famous San Francisco neighborhoods, paying homage to indi's Bay Area headquarters.
